The One Sheet

This is the official one sheet for THROWS OF PASSION.

We're excited to have had Jamie Grecco of J. Grecco Ink to work on the centerpiece image.  The poster accomplishes a lot - it conveys the slightly screwy tone of the movie, it demonstrates that the characters really are the centerpiece of the story, and it even feels alot like the poster to a short that our production team did YEARS ago - Writer's Block.

We'll have it traveling with us to fests from here on out and we'll probably try to get a couple copies online to sell to our dozens of adoring fans.

In the end, we just hope you dig it as much as we do.

OFFICIAL SELECTION - Philadelphia Independent Film Festival

We're all excited to have the opportunity to show our flick in the City of Brotherly love.  The city that's home to the miscreants at Paddy's Pub is definitely ready for our screwball flick about Rock Paper Scissors.

From the Land Down Under

We got a great review from Nicki Price's Movie Critical.

Jones has taken a subject which people would find amusing and made it even more so by throwing in some intriguing and colourful characters.

Review from Its Just Movies

The good folks at Its Just Movies have passed judgment on Throws of Passion.  And of course, we would be offended if it wasn't such a good review.

The money quote: "In the end, Throws of Passion is a nice little gem of a comedy that gets more than its money's worth in laughs. [Christopher] Guest would be proud."

Great Review from MovieCynics.com

With the Soho International Film Festival behind us, the only way to keep momentum going during the downtime is good word of mouth and good reviews for the movie.

That's why we are so excited about this review from MovieCynics.com. The Movie Cynics also devise a drinking game for just about every movie they review - so here is the Throws of Passion Drinking Game!

We are waiting on a number of festivals to get back to us, so reviews like this really only help our cause.

Soho Premiere was a Big Hit

A packed house.  Laughs beginning to end.  An opportunity to get the movie in front of an audience and see how it played.  The THROWS OF PASSION premiere at the 2010 Soho International Film Festival was a huge success!  We want to thank the festival, its coordinators, and its volunteers for putting on a wonderful event.

We also want to thank everyone who came out on February 21 to help us launch the festival run of our little $1,000 comedy.  Based on your feedback and support, it should be a fantastic run.
