And the good news keeps coming. THROWS OF PASSION was nominated for 5 Maverick Movie Awards in 2009. All of the nominations came in the acting categories. Among the nominees at this year's awards were former Oscar nominee Tom Berenger, Radiohead's Thom Yorke (who was nominated for and won Best Original Score) and character actor Raymond J. Barry. A very good year for the Mavs and a big stepping stone for our little $1,000 comedy!
NOMINATIONS:
BEST ACTOR - Steve Belanger
BEST ACTRESS - Leah Gallimore
BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR - Russ Russo
BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS - Kimberly Johnson
BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS - Oriana Petruolo
